THE BITCOIN NEWS CODE OF ETHICS

The Bitcoin News (www.letrungluan.com) and our subsidiaries are committed to the highest standards of ethical journalism, conduct, workplace rights, decorum, and respect for other human beings and the planet.
Our Code of Ethics is the code we not only work by, but live by, and expect of each other, our business partners, and suppliers. Not only do we operate according to our ethical principles and requirements, we hold ourselves and those we work with to full accountability for being in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations worldwide.
We do not discriminate, or tolerate discrimination, against anyone based on age, disability, ethnicity, gender, marital status, national origin, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, union membership, or any other status protected by applicable national or local law, in hiring and other employment practices. That goes for our conduct and decorum requirement in our office, among our virtual staff, our suppliers, and our event speakers and attendees.
Further, we have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and abuse in our workplace, our online platforms, and our editorial content and interactions. At our discretion, employees, contractors, suppliers, and other partners may be dismissed or have their activities curtailed for noncompliance with our decorum and conduct policies. Lack of decorum includes, but is not limited to: hate speech, inflammatory statements, fraudulent or misleading conduct, foul language including racial or gender-based slurs, sexual solicitation, unlawful discriminatory conduct, overly aggressive behavior, and slanderous, libelous or defamatory statements. Any knowing violation of intellectual property law and trade custom, including but not limited to infringement of copyright or trademark, is also considered zero-tolerance grounds for termination and this is strictly enforced.
We do not employ juveniles older than the legal minimum age or younger than 18 years of age except in rare instances as student interns, who are never required to work overtime or perform nighttime work without written consent of legal guardian in relation to an educational event. We practice comprehensive due diligence in record-keeping, support, and training of any such individuals.
Our company respects and supports the rule of law. We do not engage in nor work with suppliers who either engage in or are suspected of corruption, extortion, embezzlement, or bribery to obtain an unfair or improper advantage. Our written agreements and practices are detailed with regard to respect for and protection of intellectual property, both our own and that of others. We are fully compliant with the United States export regulations including those enforced by the U.S. Treasury with regard to sanctioned and embargoed countries. All suppliers and trade partners abroad are vetted by our staff according to written procedures through the Treasury’s OFAC system and strict identity and verification protocols are required when business dealings involve organized corporate entities and multiple individuals overseas.
We are sensitive to and fully compliant with all FTC and other regulations regarding native advertising and related disclosures and follow a routine established program of review and accountability.
We consider ourselves to be a socially responsible corporate citizen and as such, we maintain company representatives responsible for periodic review of our management processes. Because we are a global citizen as well, our representatives support accountability for assurance than both internally and among the suppliers and partners we work with, we are adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct, journalism, publishing, and operations. We do not work with individuals, supply partners, or other business partners who are not fully transparent and auditable.
Through regular management and team review, we routinely communicate clear information about our performance, policies, and expectations to our entire team and those who work with us.
Education and innovation are at the core of our business, and we want the time anyone spends with us to be valuable. Our goal is to create a safe environment for education, information exchange, and building relationships. We work hard to keep that space free from judgment, harassment and discrimination, in full compliance with all laws, regulations and standards of human decency, and with a spirit of leadership for global community responsibility.
